The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, National Tourist Board, Monument and Relics Commission alongside tourism private sector players continued the aggressive marketing of destination Sierra Leone at Fitur, Ifema Madrid international tourism exhibition in Spain.
Day two of this showpiece trade fair featured high level business meetings involving sector professionals of the Ministry and NTB with travel writers, tour operators and global tourism players, highlighting Sierra Leone’s appealing presence and strategic marketing portfolio at the event. Discussions with Ghana on joint marketing was held while private sector players, (IPC Travels, Best Travel Solutions) participated in sessions aimed at improving their offerings. Monument and Relics Commission captivated visitors to the stand with cultural showcase of Sierra Leone’s authenticity and its rich cultural heritage.
