On Sunday, 2 February 2025, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, the National Tourist Board and Leone Diamond Entertainment hosted the vibrant Dance for Health event at Gigibonta Car Park, drawing a diverse crowd of Sierra Leoneans and visitors.
Spearheaded by Minister Nabeela Farida Tunis and CEO Leone Diamond Entertainment, Isata Sawi, the initiative highlights dance as both a celebration of cultural heritage and a means to improve physical well-being.
The event is a key part of the 2025 Year of Ecotourism focus.

Against the scenic beach backdrop, participants engaged in energetic dance sessions, invigorating exercises, acrobatic displays, and friendly competitions, reinforcing the powerful link between culture and wellness.
