The strides made by women in Sierra Leone over the years has been magnificent. In every sector of the economy, the contribution of women has been colossal, and this is evident by the obvious progress we’ve witnessed.
This year’s theme for International Women’s Day Celebration is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. As a country with lofty ambitions, this is a theme we really should get behind, because women hold the key to Salone’s continued growth and development.
The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, National Tourist Board, Monuments & Relics Commission and their partners both in the public and private sectors wish every strong, smart, and beautiful Sierra Leonean woman, a happy International Women’s Day celebration.
